The reader list uses your email address to send the fiction and release news you requested. Personal information is not sold as a data product. Formal community submissions collect more information because they include a signed rights agreement, and the assigned creative rights may be commercially used under that agreement. Reader-list data and submission records are handled as separate kinds of records.

1. Scope
This notice explains the information handled when you visit the website, join Friday Specials, email Anton Branlin, write to Cassie, or submit a Pizza Tale or other formal community contribution.
“Anton Branlin” is the fiction pen name of Ryan Bradley. Questions about this notice may be sent to antonbranlin@gmail.com.

- Screening, editing, adaptation, publication, and rights-management records
Information about other people
A story may mention customers, drivers, relatives, coworkers, or other third parties. Submit only information you have the authority to share, and omit exact addresses, private contact details, medical records, government identifiers, and unnecessary identifying details.
3. How information is used
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- Send Friday Specials, new episodes, first looks, and publication updates.
- Manage subscriptions, honor opt-outs, and respond to reader messages.
- Receive, verify, organize, and administer signed community-submission agreements.
- Screen submissions for ownership, privacy, confidentiality, defamation, safety, and editorial fit.
- Edit, anonymize, fictionalize, combine, adapt, publish, market, license, sell, archive, or decline rights-cleared submissions under the agreement.
- Document copyright ownership, permissions, publication history, and legal compliance.
- Protect the project, readers, contributors, and third parties from fraud, infringement, misuse, or legal claims.
4. Service providers and processing
The project uses outside services to operate the site and community program:
- Cloudflare Pages hosts and delivers the website. Cloudflare privacy policy.
- MailerLite manages the Friday Specials email list and signup form. MailerLite privacy policy.
- Google services, including Gmail and potentially Drive, may be used to receive, organize, store, and retrieve correspondence, signed agreements, and attachments. Google privacy policy.
- AI-assisted tools, including OpenAI services, may be used to help classify, summarize, edit, anonymize, or adapt selected material. Do not submit secrets or sensitive records that are unnecessary to the story. OpenAI privacy policy.
Editors, designers, publishers, distributors, platforms, contractors, professional advisers, and licensees may receive information or submission material when reasonably needed to evaluate, edit, publish, market, license, distribute, protect, or administer the project.
5. Email communications
Friday Specials is a fiction-and-release-news list. Every marketing email should include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future marketing messages, but a limited suppression record may be retained so the opt-out can continue to be honored.
Writing directly to Anton or Cassie does not automatically place you on the marketing list.
6. Ordinary correspondence versus formal submissions
An ordinary email is treated as reader correspondence. It is not treated as publishable or adaptable community-submission material unless it is sent with a completed Community Submission Rights Assignment Agreement v2.0 or the exact accepted electronic-signature affirmation.
Formal submissions are governed by the signed agreement. The agreement controls ownership, editing, adaptation, credit, payment, publication, and withdrawal terms. Review the submission terms.
8. Personal information versus creative rights
The project does not sell personal information as a standalone advertising or data-broker product. A formal community-submission agreement does, however, assign creative and publication rights in the submitted material. Those rights and resulting works may be published, licensed, transferred, or sold as described in the agreement. That commercial use of creative rights is different from selling a contributor’s personal data.
9. Retention
- Reader-list records: kept while you remain subscribed, plus limited suppression and compliance records after unsubscribe.
- Ordinary correspondence: kept as long as reasonably useful for replying, administration, recordkeeping, or resolving disputes.
- Signed community submissions: signed agreements, source files, editorial records, and publication records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to document ownership, permitted uses, publication history, licensing, and legal compliance. That period may be indefinite.
- Incomplete or unsigned materials: may be deleted, ignored, or retained temporarily for administrative and security purposes.
10. Your choices and requests
You may unsubscribe from Friday Specials at any time. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by emailing antonbranlin@gmail.com with PRIVACY REQUEST in the subject line.
Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary to honor an unsubscribe, maintain security, document a signed rights transfer, establish publication rights, comply with law, or resolve disputes. A privacy request does not alter the copyright assignment or other contractual terms in a signed submission agreement.
11. Security
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to limit unauthorized access and keep project records organized. No email, cloud service, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Contributors should keep a copy of everything they submit.
12. Age requirement
The formal community-submission program is for adults age 18 or older. Do not submit a rights-assignment agreement if you are under 18.
13. International processing
Cloud and email providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Their privacy policies describe their transfer and protection practices.
14. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the website, providers, storage practices, or community program changes. The current revision date appears below.
Before sending a formal submission: review both this privacy notice and the submission terms. The signed agreement—not this privacy notice—controls the transferred publication rights.
